Dafür ist sie eindeutig zu teuer.

Ich persönlich würde so ein Teil in Einzelteilen verkaufen,

Die Innenausstattung passt nicht mehr zum Ausstattungscode der Auslieferung ..und das Chassis hast du auch schon im Detail "bewundern" dürfen

ja, denn der Bauke hat ja in seinem Bericht extra noch versucht sich zu rechtfertigen für seine Einschätzung das es ein tip top Rahmen sei .. und das er nix mit Waxoil übertüncht hätte usw. (deine Bemerkung mit 'schwarz mit Teerfarbe überpinselt' kam ja schonmal

der verkürzte Umbaubericht steht doch hier im Forum, sogar die Bilder für seine beiden Verkaufsanzeigen hat er aus seinem Archiv verwendet, schon peinlich für ihn das er uns für so unterbelichtet oder verkalkt hält das nicht zu erkennen

i don't can read every message, the car has a good chassis, (dont forget its 36 years old..) i did not cover any rust or something, because the chassis looks nice and i want to sell the car honest, and can be seen on a bridge,

so i have seen more chassis on cars (S1 types) and also on other forums i see pictures, so i know also what is a good chassis or what is a bad chassis.. this red lotus elite 501 had NOT a totally restoration!!!!! this car is otherwise very orginal ---> message micha

the car goes away because my other LHD lotus elite waits for restoration, (that one has a complete restoration, and i will post pictures on this forum so you can see the hole chassis had a poudercoat job done..) and also new piston and liners, but that car is not jet done, i will share the pictures and the work what i do with you, that one gets a respray..

was the powdercoated chassis opened, prior to the coating process ..?

..or was it in a bath to clean the hollowed sections and undo the rust ?

..the car you sell (this red one ) does have black leather now, but you showed us that it was fitted with some sort of cloth/vinyl instead of leather ..so 'very original' means what ?

-right, you have not covered rust on the chassis, not the one that can be seen in the picture on those sections & points without black covering (is this black covering original paint, or tar or what is it ?

thank you that you talk your message into english,

the powdercoated chassis had no rust on it, thats the resion the powdercoated it, (and the chassis looks brand new now) i never had the car on a bridge, butt when i have this elite on a bridge i will take pictures so you can see how it realy looks, (i want to keep this car, because its gone look very nice when it is done..) (i think it was also into a bath i dont know, because the owner before me did this) its a unfinish projecht....

yess the car had cloth interior, but its looks horrible on theys cars everybody knows that, coth is always hinging down, the black leather is maby not orginal from the car it selfs, but it looks much better and it also comes from a lotus elite, if i must think about leather or coth i know what i will choice.. thats why i putt leather inside...

the black points you see on the frame/chassis is TAR from a long time ago, if you see the car in the real you can see its sitting there for a long time, i am very happy to see that, otherwise maby the hole chassis was maby rotten or gone, they did a good job back into the 90's because the car stands still for over 17 years.... (inside a dry garage..)

OK, so this one was sandblasted outside, and has got an powdercoat -but what happened there ?

I will see to that when i am back at my garage, the old owner told me everything, and i dont work yet on this car,

Teuer, aber....

Finde den auch den Knaller. gerade sie Farbkombi und die S2 Variante machen schon was her. Motorraum aufgeräumt, insgesamt vielversprechend.

Wenn alles albwegs stimmt, wäre auch der Preis halbwegs akzeptabel. Und die Farbe wird ja nur noch von dem Grün übertroffen
S2 ist ohnehin was feines - muß man nur noch sicherstellen, daß es auch wirklich einer ist, aber beim flüchtigen drüberschauen konnte ich nichts entdecken, was mich mißtrauisch gemacht hätte.

An, der Braune von oben ist von Simon den kannst Du dann blind kaufen.mdas ist ein absoluter Auto-Narr. Und ihr solltet erst seinen weißen S1 Elite sehen.... Besser als mint. Zuschlagen
