butt i think it will fitt, because the engine itselfs (not the enginehead) is the same as a 907 engine, so at the same place the bolts...

my dad has a esprit turbo se for sale,
and its a car what orginal is deliverd to NL and my dad owns it since 1996 so after 16years he wanne sell it,
it has all the upgrades you can wish (alluimum gas tanks, ebc brake pads, new cambelt, other front brake cilinders (much better) and a sport 300 chip)
and from the oudsite orginal, the engine is allready rebuild, and has a new ''race'' clutch,
the car is red and has a new turbo (ball- bearings..) and also a new special auspuff exhaust manifold on the car,

because its a esprit turbo se and is deliverd to NL the steering wheel is on the good site.. (LHD)

the price would be 11.000 euro...

micha, i think you are right, but most of the times you tink the car is very very rotten.
the same you say about mine S1 (or better say: you tink that more then 90% is rotten)
and aslo about other cars, butt i think just go see to that car.. because
a picture dont say everything, because when you make a picture under a car (and then you need a flasher)
then looks every thing most worse then that it really is, butt i (and we) know that you are searching to cars how looks as the
where made into 2010 or something, the cars we are talking about (S1) are from the 70ties so they are old,
and now i have a car for sale with his orginal chassis, butt the chassis is in my eyes very good, not rotten, if you see it in the real
because the rust what is sissting is just fly-rust and i am also not putting my car into a anti-rust treatment because i want to sell my elite just the way
its is and its looks very nice, (i can post pictures...)

and the buyer from that elite is realy a lucky bastard, i had it also once, for les money a elite,
so sometimes you have luck on your side, (and that time it stands on my side..)
the car is also totaly strip down in bits.. to make you all happy if you need something..

butt in that car was no 910 engine, (turbo esprit) butt i dont care, i need the leather interior..

i build many times a 907 in and out, and i know that there is not many space...

There is here on this forum a german user how wants the elite s2.2, (from the bonhams site..)
i bring him allready in contact with the owner, so maby the car goes to germany, would be nice,
it would be better if the car stays where it was sold The netherlands, butt i dont have the money for it,
(he ask me first a year ago if i want to buy the car(s)

my own elite s1 (the red one) is almost done, so its coming for sale, i need i think 2 days to finish the car,
it got many new bits and upgraded bits,

when its done it comes online on this forum, (and its very orginal.. with cambelt cover, separator plate from (cooling - engine) and airbox
and tool set, jack and owners manual.. and orginal steering wheel...

i know the owner and the car,<br><br>so if somebody needs info, or something, its a very nice car, so i think its a nice price for this great car... <br>

micha, i will make pictures of my car, <br>then you will see that there are some good s1 chassis left in the world,<br><br>maby you always get the worst cars to see.. i dont know, butt i know and beleave there are still many good cars around,<br>only they stay at collecters, <br><br>and yess i know also the rear crossmember is many times rotten, and when that part is rotten the chassis is rubbish,<br><br>when i have the car on a bridge i will make pictures (and also from the rear crossmember) <br>

99% of the s1 cars? i am sure there is many nice stuff left, butt you must search for it, and it is very rare,
if you buy a car what stand under a tree for 5 years yes that one is rotten,
never ever buy a elite if you not can see the chassis, putt it on a bridge and be shure of a good buy or not..

i tink there is in hole world 20% of the elite s1 cars how is not rotten, butt they are standing at collecters and they are rare,
i have a S1 chassis what looks great, not rotten butt has 2 little spots on it,
butt easy to fix, and i have it also for sale, (the chassis only!!!)

the grey one i bought is very very very nice, because it was body of and everything they fitted new, and also the chassis, i can see my self into it, so nice
and shiny, (so NOT rotten hahah!!) i will make a picture this summer when i have it on the bridge,

my red one had this eaving new rear shock-absorbers placed so thats also done, (and almost done for the selling!)

and thats how it goes with this cars!
so a price on a car on the internet is nothing, you must see the car, and then you can say if the car is worth it,
and many (80%) is allready gone, and stays under a tree, there are also a couple of cars left in the hole world how are nice,
and the onwers keep them nice (like leigh in england he owns colin chapmans old elite essex) and some othe real elite/eclat owners,

butt to restore them its to expensive, butt the valveu from this cars go up and up every year, and i think the elite is getting popuilair,
because of the shape if you see the new sirroco or other new cars they have all a roofs whats going down like the elite 38 years ago,

keep up the good work, i am also still young, and this will not be my last elite, !!

this car is a 1974 LHD lotus elite,
and can be pick up for free,
somewhere in belgium (nearby brussel) so if you want to pick up the body just send my a message and i will call this person,
so you can pick up the body,

for sale:

a nice good looking leather interior for a lotus elite 74-82
the drivers seat has only 2 cracks, butt i know a company how works often with lotus seats.. so no problem to fix that..

i also have carpets from a lotus elite, and all of the cloth (floor, and around the seats)

the leather = 750 euro
the leather with the carpets and the cloth= 950 euro

the parts are located at the North of the Netherlands,

and there where different clocks inside a elite, 74 - 77 (with a red needle)
and the new ones (78 - 80 ) have the other type (white needle..)

and i think they are the same clocks as from a eclat/excel/esprit s2 and s3 (maby turbo..)

butt it not coming out of a workplace handbook so far as i know,

i can make pictures from everything if you want to, then i must putt the car on a bridge, butt it looks very nice it stand for over 15 years into a dry storage,
so thats no problem, butt i am not yet fisnish with the car, the lats things i work on right now, to putt it on the internet,

butt i have done may work on the elite, to bring her back into the good and nice shape she where before..
and she is a LHD orginal NL car,

the car goes on a bridge, then i will make pictures again, and then i will putt it also on the internet everywhere, (then the car is also clear..)

we will see.. the yellow riviera look nice, buts a eclat,

@ wasp: i am coming from holland, (in the north of the neterlands''s)
and i am having a meeting about elite/eclat/excel every year... (this year at the end of 2012...)

and let me be good: micha called me 2 or 3 times about the car, and saw it on a bridge, and yess i did a proces to protect the under side because of the rust,
butt i see that the person (micha) the man aus muchen was not so happy about that, and i lear a lesson about that,
thats the ression, that i dont waxx a car agian into the anit-rust, butt dont get me worg, micha was with the car, and if it was even treu rotten, you always could see it.... i my eyes the white elite was a good nice car, with superficial rust on it, BUTT REALY NO RUST TREU It chassis,

and yess the red one i want 8500 for, and i did much more on that car then the white one,
i replace leather and much more... thats make it not cheap... and i have a spare lotus elite for sale
(there are 11 cars sold back into the 70''s) and i have allready the 2the (off the 11) lotus elite from the netherlands

the car had no rust, just only the upper layer, and not totally gone, ist not gealvaniseerd, so there will be always a little bit rust on the chassis,
and i learn one thing on that topic, i never putt a elite back into a anti-rust treatment, because now you can see what you are buying..

so i dont sale cars with a suprise, butt the white one was not back, i have seen much more elite cars, and they are worst very more worst as this white one,
the car is standing 2x on the lotusexcel.net calander from 2012 so thats very nice... (i have the calander at house..)

Yes i am also looking forward to set-up a new meeting in this year Jurgen (i hope that i can make it with the time..) and otherwise next year,
butt now i am putting up the meeting nearby my house, because here i know nice places and nice hotels/restaurants,
this year i want to have mike kimbery at the meeting (and maby oliver winterbottum agian, because thats a great men!!!)

@ lotide: lets hope that you can come this year, and a lot more, more cars as a year before i hope 2 times more!!!

Its a s2 mm interested, and i have good leather, and i have also a adres from somebody how can fix leather, (did also my red lotus elite)
i will follow the bidding, and i have a overhauld engine here, so i can drive away if i want to.. (and have a automatic gearbox still) so if its brakes down,
i have a other one..
my old white elite is now on the month jan. and juli from the lotusexcel.net calander 2012 very very nice
