    For sale:

    lotus europa JPS special 1974 big valve twin cam,
    black/gold LHD orginal Netherlands car, (SO NOT A USA CAR!) with light beige interior (leather)

    the car stand still for 10 years, it has his orginal Paint, it need some work,
    the car was 10 years ago body off, and all work is done under the body (chassis, suspension...)
    paint show age, and it has some cracks in the paint,
    car is complete!

    are there any interested guys for this car?

    i also can make the car done, (with new paint and the interior back in..) but then the price would be (ofcourse) higher..

    For sale: Lotus Elite 501 1979 all electronics are working.. and this car has eletric headlamp motors and new tyres around
    this car would deliverd complete (so with rubber around the car, and all the other parts what are missing on the pictures..)

    car can be deleverd with:

    - galvanized chassis
    - Leather interior
    - body allready on a galvanized chassis,

    just the wish of the costumer.. so just ask what you want.. chassis is still orginal, and has some surface rust, (not rotten!!!)

    this next week i will get a other elite,
    i am still busy with one elite, so maby there is somebody how maby wants to buy it from me,
    its one with cloth inside it, but i can deliver the car with (good and nice) black leather

    the car has driven 85.000 km and its a LHD car one of the 11 ever deliverd to Holland,
    chassis is good, (when i have the car i will make some pictures) but if you are looking for a LHD elite
    and not for the biggest price, then this would be something for you,

    (on the picture the chroom metal trim under the door is missing, when i have the car it will get a trim on it!!!)
    (just the same with the black plastic strip in the middle of the car, thas also missing, i still have one..)

    Thank you a lot for the advice on the cleaning!
    So... you're the man wich came to Andorra interested for the Lotus last January or Febrary !!
    In fact, the dealer told me "a german guy come to see the Eclat, seemed interested and wanted to buy it to take the car outside Andorra... "
    I guess the asking price was too high for compensate export duties. Well, the price they ask was high anyway, and the car needed some immediate repair (exhaust, clutch and so on...). And also needs some exterior brigthwork to correct, maybe in the past a body repair not so much carefully was done.
    As expert you are, and if you looked carefully the car, maybe you can give some tips or advice on it... I will be very thanksfull!! I'm not an Lotus expert!!

    And for the steering wheel... I agree with you to keep the car as when its first day. I do promise to keep the car as original as I can. If a mod is done, and the original part will be carefully stored and reversed in the future if needed.

    Hello from Andorra!
    I'm Jordi, my car is an Eclat s2.2 1980 Altair Green.
    It is my first semi-classic car, I've purchased it a few weeks ago.
    The car is complete, has been maintained under roof for many years. The family of its first owner maintained the car it in a "medium care" level until they sell it. So I'm the second owner.
    I think because the age the car needs renewal of all filters and fluids, a complete brake rebuild, a new stainless steel exhaust system, new belts, thermostat, maybe new clutch. The heater is not working, the A/C system needs gas, etc.
    Rigth now the car is in an auto-classic workshop specialist for the fist rebuild (brake system, exhaust, suspension busches...) and then I'll go for other easier thinks by myself.
    I hope you Lotus enthusiast can help me in the process I begin!! I've found great usefull information on lotusforum.com!!

    thats a park where you can hire a box, and you can work on you oldtimer (or your lotus or something else..)
    i am gone live inside germany and i life nearby Rabenau so maby i wanne hire there a box,

    they have allready a great picture of many lotus cars on the website so i think its a good thing to hire there a box!

    i know to find a complete restored esprit s2 from 1978
    this car has the number: 00002 so this is the second car ever build, (and it is a Left hand drive.. LHD)
    red leather interior, and grey colour on the body,
    its a orginal belguim car, (yess it has the 45mm dellortos on it) and it is restored until the last bolt
    (new leather, new paint and many new bolts and braking stuff, just almost everything is new)

    the car has a brief from the factory and it was back into 1978 also grey with black-red leather and cloth

    if you need parts of a excel, i have just bought a excel from 1983 and i sell it in parts,

    into the future i hope also to have a SE excel for parts and bits,

    For sale: lotus 907 engine,

    this engine comes with a complete overhauled cilinderhead:

    - new cilinder-gasket
    - valve seats "polish" (sorry i dont know the right word in english)
    - valves are "polish"
    - leader (from the valve) are as new
    - new intake gasget
    - new exhaust gasgets (4x)
    - new sparks
    - new cam cover gasgets
    - cam covers painted into the right black "whrinkle" paint
    - complete engine is painted
    - new cambelt (on the picture not yet on the engine..)
    - cilinderhead new putt to "even" (i dont know the right word sorry..) but thats the side what comes on the engine.. that side is new..
    - cilinderhead extort
    - valve timing restort and is now just how it must be (a time loosing job!!)

    (and maby there are more things, that i am forgot..)
    this is done at a overhaul company, how does work more on this engine's

    the engine is not total complete it comes with:

    - startengine (to start the motor) (on the front of the picture)
    - exhaust manifold
    - pulley's (from crankshaft 2x and waterpump)
    - aluminium spacer cooling system (comes from the waterpump..)
    - ignition unit


    engine has rum 60.000 KM /// 37282 miles

    this engine also can be used to make a replica of a talbot sunbeam (only this is a 2.0L) but looks the same..


    price: 1300 euro
    (just look what overhaul cost of a lotus 907 engine..)

    the car is very orginal, it has his orginal paint still,
    service is also very easy from this car,
    because many parts are from a
    toyota,
    and that makes it very reliable for a
    lotus car


    the car has done around 127.000 km / 78914 Miles

    the car has onboard:

    - full leather
    - Central locking
    - cruise control
    - Eletr. windows
    - Eletr. Mirrors
    - Airco (need a refresh)

    the car drives good, it has a new M.O.T(TUV or APK..) untill 8 Aug
    2013..

    (yesterday 30-09-12 i did a trip from more then 300 KM without any
    trouble or something bad,
    cooling is working very very good, brakes also!
    and its a headturner..


    there is some history from the car, but not everything in 2003 the car came to holland, (owned by Maarten van sten) (lotus specialist how had his own company..) (maarten R.I.P.)

    the resion he must go: they offer me a esprit S2 LHD, and i dont have
    room for a other lotus (i still have 2 Elites and my garage is not
    bigger..)
    so this one must go...

    car comes with owners manaul, just a good excel, and some history that
    goes back to the 90's
    the lotus has a couple of stone-chip's on the front (because its the
    orginal paint..)
    the only thig: headlining is hanging, but i have allready new one with
    the car, so that would be no problem,
    the car can be seen on a bridge (under the car..)

    thank you that you talk your message into english,

    the powdercoated chassis had no rust on it, thats the resion the powdercoated it, (and the chassis looks brand new now) i never had the car on a bridge, butt when i have this elite on a bridge i will take pictures so you can see how it realy looks, (i want to keep this car, because its gone look very nice when it is done..) (i think it was also into a bath i dont know, because the owner before me did this) its a unfinish projecht....

    yess the car had cloth interior, but its looks horrible on theys cars everybody knows that, coth is always hinging down, the black leather is maby not orginal from the car it selfs, but it looks much better and it also comes from a lotus elite, if i must think about leather or coth i know what i will choice.. thats why i putt leather inside...

    the black points you see on the frame/chassis is TAR from a long time ago, if you see the car in the real you can see its sitting there for a long time, i am very happy to see that, otherwise maby the hole chassis was maby rotten or gone, they did a good job back into the 90's because the car stands still for over 17 years.... (inside a dry garage..)

    i don't can read every message, the car has a good chassis, (dont forget its 36 years old..) i did not cover any rust or something, because the chassis looks nice and i want to sell the car honest, and can be seen on a bridge,

    i am maby 25 years old, but this is mine 8th lotus car (i had a eclat, elite, and now i drive a excel from 1989..)

    so i have seen more chassis on cars (S1 types) and also on other forums i see pictures, so i know also what is a good chassis or what is a bad chassis.. this red lotus elite 501 had NOT a totally restoration!!!!! this car is otherwise very orginal ---> message micha

    the car goes away because my other LHD lotus elite waits for restoration, (that one has a complete restoration, and i will post pictures on this forum so you can see the hole chassis had a poudercoat job done..) and also new piston and liners, but that car is not jet done, i will share the pictures and the work what i do with you, that one gets a respray..

    hello i have 2 lotus 907 engines,

    one just complete fot spares and bits (so if you need something only a litlle piece of the engine i have it..)
    the other engine is has a overhauled cilinderhead, with a new gasget set and not yet used after the rebuild.

    engine is located in the North of The Netherlands..

    for sale, a chassis from a Lotus Elite, butt its the same as a Lotus Eclat its in good condition, butt has 2 mirror things,


    just look to the last 2 pictures (this is the S1 chassis and NOT a Galvanised one butt in very good condition):









    The mirror things.. easy to make good agian..




    thats the only rust the chassis got.. so just make it and you have a bright good chassis
