this is the first built esprit turbo after the essex cars,
the first esprit turbo cars where the essex models, they are built until chassis #950
this car has as VIN: #951 but it has all essex options, as:
- Panasonic roof radio
- dry sump engine
- compromotive wheels (3 pieces)
and it has the james bond interior, just as the white car from the movie: "for your eyes only"

and the car has a galvanized chassis (this is done middle the 90’s)
car stands a long time inside a dry storage, when it got in, the hole suspension is done,
the engine turns over, so no worry’s about that, its a good looking not much used car,

Engine comes out of a
excel and also fits inside a esprit, (you only need to change the
exhaust manifold) it also can be fitted inside a normal S3 car,
engine comes with:
- Intake and exhaust manifolds
- dynamo and steering pump
so
just complete how i have taken it out of the car, the engine was
running when it came out of the car, it has done right now: 60.000

This is a LHD Lotus Eclat Riviera S2.2 Automatic from 1982. Second last
Eclat ever built. Its from the second owner who was a car collector in
Belgium. He owned the car for Nearly 20 Years.
There are worldwide 80 Lotus Eclat S2.2 Riviera's made, there are probably 4
or 5 Riviera´s (LHD) and probably one or two Automatics! This thing is
extremely rare and an highly colectable car.
The car is completely original, its never painted and still got the
first paint on it. Its the second last Eclat ever built and has all the
options available from that time!

LHD-Eclats und auch Informationen über wieviel Riviera gibt es gebaut,
ich weiß,
gibt es einen anderen schwarzen Riviera LHD in Frankreich
herum fahren und haben 2 Jahre zurück ein LHD siehe Riviera zu verkaufen
(das rot war) so wollen 3 Stücke sind Riviera, nur habe ich einen
Automaten, (automatic)
vielleicht gibt es aber 1 von gebaut??

For sale, Lotus excel 1986
almost complete, needs new oil and belts, and ofcourse carbs rebuild,
car has spark, so it also will run, but i dont want to start the engine, because it first need service,
car has a little bit damage on the front, (easy repair!)
windows, light, headlamps mirrors, blower, fan, everything is working on this car,
price for this Lotus Excel: 2350 euro
(in parts you will get more, but this car is to good to break down it should be a shame!)

maby you remember from 2011 that i had a eclat elite excel meeting inside the netherlands?
(there are still some vids on youtube about that nice day!)
i will do a new meeting / drive away / ride,
and that will be at the most beautifull place inside the Netherlands,
its called "friesland"
there are many lake''s and three and old houses and ofcourse mills.
we also vised my garage where are my cars are standing.
and ofcourse all parts and bits are
all lotus cars are welcome, from mark 6 till the new exige V6

For sale: Lotus esprit turbo 1982
This car is a "wet sump" car so just a normal turbo Esprit with 84.000 miles on the clock
the car came end of 1993 to The Netherlands,
here some info about the car:
ENGINE:
the engine is complete overhauled, it has new pistons, and liners, crankshaft is balanced with new bearings, the cilinderhead is "flowed" for a better air stream, all gaskets are new, it has run after the overhauling 500 KM so a complete new engine!
CHASSIS:
its a galvanized chassis, so no rust! the Suspension is also new, new shocks and springs, brake lines are all from Stainless steal as you can see on the picture's new rubbers fitted, brakes done.. just complete done..
BODY:
thats the bad point about this car is really needs a respray, that was the last thing the old owner wants to do.. and he started it allready but lose the enthusiasm, and private he had somethings on mind,
there is also one broken mirror on the left side of the car, (i will have a new one with the car)
INTERIOR:
its a full Leather intererior (without any cracks inside the seats) there are 2 carpets on the ground missing,
this car has NOT aircondition, it has a good headlining
SHORTLY SAYING:
its a technical good car, it has stand still over 12 years, so there is some dust on the new parts, its needs new fluids, and you need to respray it, then you have a great car on this one, i have to many projects thats why i wanne sell it,
this will be a opportunity to own on a cheap way a esprit turbo,
great project for a handy guy, i sell this car because i have allready to many projects and just no time for this car,

here a RHD lotus esprit turbo in very good condition,
it has:
= new shocks all around
= Stainless Steel Auspuff
= new cambelt
= overhauled carburateurs
interior looks really very good, the headlining very good,
this car has driven around 56.000 miles, and kept always in a heated garage,
did not come out very much, but kept in good condition trough the owner,
car comes with the hole history,(a map full) i have all the MOT papers, and the cilinderhead is overhauled
around 5.000 miles back everything works, and its a very orginal car, (with underplate, and tool kit!)

i have had the best time of my life, so many lotus cars, and nice people,
and on the classis car stand so many people they dont know about lotus,
and we made them interested into this car,
what a great end of this lotus year!
next year we gonne do more and more, in england there will be a 40th years of elite meeting,
so we must be there also,
and on 9th of Nov. there will be a lotus sell day, (parts t-shirts, books, bits, and many many more!!!)
