    Its a very early car (35th ever build) of the line back in 1974.
    Its a orginal Netherlands car, and i bought it from the second owner,
    Who had this car for 31 years!


    It was always keept inside, and this car is very orginal, its fitted with extra options:


    - Philips Type 22RN 712 Dictaphone radio / Cassette (very rare! And orginal!)
    - And A/C.


    The car has new tyres around, and new shocks, the cilinderhead needs a overhaul.
    This car don’t run at the moment, but its complete!
    Its a very rare Orginal E.U LHD car, a good investment,

    this car has had a complete overhaul, and many things are new on this car:


    - LHD. headlamps, (because its in belguim)
    - new bleu rubber cooling hoses,
    - new radiator
    - interior complete new, re-done
    - new clutch and clutch assembly
    - new brake lines
    - new brake pads
    - new shocks all around,(on the back you can adjust)
    - new waste trim
    - new voltage gauge
    - resprayd (a year ago)
    - all little parts like suspension are sand blasted, and coated again so as new,
    - new cambelt
    - new waterpump
    - overhauled Dellorto's (DHLA 45mm)
    - gearbox overhauled
    - diff overhauled
    - all oil seals are replaced for new ones
    - headlamp motors are new

    orginal Netherlands car, and the last owner had this car for 18 years,

    he did a body off restauration,


    what did he did:


    - brake lines

    - brake pads

    - chassis coating

    - steering rod ends

    - new final drive
    - a time ago overhauled the cilinder-head


    and just every small thing, to make the car better and better in the years,
    the car has a cloth interior what looks how it must look like after 38 years

    the 5 speed gearbox works fine, and has no sound, or putting out of the gear
    with acceleration
    just a good fine working Lotus Elite, how comes from a Lotus enthosiast and must go to a Lotus Enthosiast.
    chroom work from the car is good,


    the car has a crack inside the front window, but i can arrange a new front windscreen


    there is also some history with the car, but this guy did many things by his own,

    when the body was off the chassis, he replace a new piece of metal above the back springs, over the whole end,
    so thats now rust free.. (the most importent thing!)

    You have a very rare car there! i love it,
    i know allready 2 LHD. Lotus elite S2.2 cars, (1 of them is inside germany too) there are only a couple build,


    from 0237C till 0243

    so you must have one chassis number between them, i had also a rare car a Eclat LHD. riviera automatic,
    only 4 build, and just 1 for the whole Europa, that was my car, i sold it to germany also,

    I know Guillermo,

    but when i bought it i was very happy, if you buy a esprit RHD. not so easy to drive...
    but this car (the 340R) you can see very well everything, and its very easy to drive,
    its just a rare car, and the prices for a LHD. are 50.000 euro +
    and i am asking a right price for such a look after car, with all good options,

    wish me luck, and i will see if i sell her, and otherwise i keep her i know its going up in price...

    it's time to go for something else, i had so much fun of this car, but its time to move on, so it put it for sale,

    this car has driven 74.000 miles, and has been well maintaind
    the car has driven inside UK then the car was sold to germany back in 2009

    in 2011 the car was sold to holland,
    the car has been into a restauration:

    - full resprayd body (incl bumpers, mirrors, window frames, just all around)
    - new engine from PNM engineering uk. (old engine is still with the car)
    - new clutch and Clutch Assembly from AP racing
    - New Fuel tank right side (left was in good order)
    - red hose syndroom = stainless steal

    For sale: Lotus Elan +2 Convertible 1970
    this is a rare +2 convertible,

    the car has been restored back in 1988 i have many bills and orders with the car from that time,
    (look at the picture's)
    they also replace the chassis with a galvanised chassis, and they did the paintwork, and also the interior,
    (you can read it all its on the pictures)
    i also got some old M.O.T's back from the early 90's and the car has done
    the last MOT that i have from the UK is back in 13th of Nov. then the car had done 56940 miles,
    (the car came in 2008 to holland) it has now done: 58.082 miles,

    the pictures that i send you from the car is how it came off the trailer, i still must clean the car and polish it,
    so it would become much better,

    the orginal radio incl. manual (very rare!!!) comes with the car,
    i will check everything this week, and i will drive with the car, and take a look to all the rubbers,
    there are also 4 new "donuts" with the car from the driving axle's (look picture)
    interior looks very nice, without any cracks, also the dashboard looks very good,
